We are looking for a Senior SDET who will act as a technical leader and quality strategist, driving automation architecture, CI/CD quality gates, data quality practices, and AI‑enabled QA transformation.
This role demands deep engineering expertise, ownership of quality outcomes, mentorship of SDETs, and close partnership with engineering, product, and business stakeholders—especially in wealth management platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Technical Leadership
Define and own QE strategy for complex enterprise systems
Establish best practices for test architecture, automation standards, and coverage
Lead test approach for large initiatives, integrations, and regulatory changes
Influence design for testability, observability, and data integrity
Automation Architecture
Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks (UI, API, backend, data)
Drive shift‑left and shift‑right testing practices
Ensure automation supports CI/CD quality gates and release readiness
Solve complex test flakiness, environment, and data issues
AI‑Driven Quality Engineering
Lead adoption of AI‑assisted testing across teams
Define governance for responsible AI usage in QA
Explore intelligent testing approaches (self‑healing, test optimization, defect prediction)
Set standards for human‑in‑the‑loop validation
Data Quality & Backend Testing
Own data quality validation strategies for financial systems
Design automated checks for ETL, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy
Validate complex integrations across upstream and downstream platforms
Partner with data engineering teams on prevention vs detection controls
Mentorship & Collaboration
Mentor Intermediate and Junior SDETs
Review automation code, test strategies, and pipeline designs
Act as a quality advisor to product owners, BAs, and leadership
Represent QA in architecture and planning discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Advanced Technical Expertise
Expert‑level Javascript /Trype Script / Python
Deep experience with Playwright and test frameworks
Advanced API testing and backend validation
Strong SQL and data analysis skills
Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch
Azure & DevOps
Expert use of Azure DevOps pipelines for automated testing
Quality gates, reporting, and release readiness metrics
Experience with cloud‑native architectures in Azure
Domain Expertise (Highly Preferred)
