Job Title : Engineer II – Software Test
Location: Louisville, CO (100% onsite)
Contract: 12 months (possible extension)
Role Overview
We are looking for a mid-level Software Test Engineer to support testing of electromechanical medical devices with embedded software. This role is primarily focused on manual testing, defect tracking, and limited automation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing, including smoke, integration, and dry-run testing
- Review requirements and create test cases for verification and validation (V&V)
- Detect, log, and track software defects
- Build and maintain automated test scripts
- Work closely with developers and cross-functional teams
- Prepare test documentation and reports
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 2–6 years of experience in software testing (manual with some automation)
- Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes
- Testing certification is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python and/or LabVIEW for automation
- Background in embedded systems testing
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
